'URBAN MERMAID' TOP FROM ADORKABLE APPAREL | SKIRT FROM AMERICAN APPAREL
I'm rather fond of The Little Mermaid - can you tell? I've been admiring this Adorkable Apparel crop top from afar for quite some time, so finally having it in my wardrobe is a dream. I've already worn it down to the beach, and I've been pairing it with every blue and green skirt I own for perfectly mermaidy looks. Today I wore it with one of the oldest pieces in my wardrobe, my forest green pleated skirt from American Apparel. I bought it when I was seventeen, and it's been one of my staples ever since! Of course, it would have been sinful not to finish my Ariel-esque ensemble with my wonderful 'I'm Really A Mermaid' necklace from I Love Crafty.
We were planning to head down the beach today, however we were all feeling a bit lazy, so we opted for a day in the garden instead. My parents gardens are just idyllic, so it really is shameful that we don't use them more often. We let their two goats -Bugsy and Tallulah- out of their pen so that they could have a slight change of scenery, and I scoured the Cornish hedgerows surrounding the garden for colourful wildflowers. Playing with animals and picking wildflowers were both on my summer bucket list, so it feels good to be ticking things off!
