My wardrobe is in an odd transitional stage right now. I know I should probably still be dressing for winter, but I'm just itching to start wearing pretty spring pastels and tea dresses with bare legs. This outfit is my attempt at a compromise. For quite some time I lusted over this blue, off the shoulder dress from Topshop, however at £70 is was well and truly out of my price range. Thankfully, I stumbled across this playsuit from Motel. It's a similar sugary blue print, but only £45 (and in all honesty, it's probably a bit more wearable than the Topshop number!). It's a wonderful compromise, a really flattering cut, and more suited to everyday wear.
The double ring was a complete steal from Ever Ours at a miniscule £1. Their sale prices are truly unbelievable, so if you're a jewellery hoarder it's definitely worth a quick peek before it's all snapped up. As someone who wears minimal jewellery, I rely on the few pieces I do wear to make a statement - and this big, ornate pair of scissors does just that. The boots are a new purchase too, but I'll be talking about them in more detail in another post very soon.
A couple of weeks ago I mentioned that I was going to be in More magazine. My issue was supposed to come out next Tuesday, however I was very surprised to discover that it's been released a week early! It's only £1.50 a copy, so if you're in the UK and fancy picking up a copy make sure you do before the new issue is released next week.
