DRESS FROM TOPSHOP | SUNGLASSES FROM SIREN LONDON* | HEELS FROM H&M
I'm a very lucky lady indeed! Over the weekend, Grant was kind enough to treat me to my dream dress from Topshop as an early Valentines present. It's been at the top of my wishlist ever since I first laid eyes on it, so it feels wonderful to have it hanging in my wardrobe. I tried styling it in a few different ways - with accessories, without, with a petticoat, without - and eventually settled for minimal accessories, my puffiest American Apparel petticoat skirt, and my hair swept off my shoulders into a topknot. The dress is such a beautiful, feminine shape and the detailing in the print is just perfect, so I decided to let it take the limelight.
Last night I fancied doing a little baking, and I ended up making these double chocolate biscuits with my new heart shaped cutter (evidently I have Valentines on the brain). I felt like they needed something else - however I wasn't in the mood for careful, intricate decoration - so I bought some white chocolate, melted it with a little red food colouring and strawberry flavouring, then drizzled it over the cooling biscuits. I love the final effect and they are rather tasty, if I do say so myself! It's a great way to finish off baked goodies if you're feeling a bit lazy. Has anyone else tried it before?

Arghhh that dress!!! Sooo pretty <3 :)
