Blushing.

DRESS (WORN AS TOP) FROM SIREN LONDON* | SKIRT FROM LOVE | HEADBAND FROM TOPSHOP

Since this is the month of love, it seems fitting that my first outfit post is a fairly romantic one. Blush is one of my favourite colours to wear, so when this dress from Siren London arrived I couldn't resist going the whole hog. The fact that I've been fawning over blush bridal ensembles recently didn't help matters either!

I had to be somewhat creative when styling the dress, as unfortunately it wasn't quite what I'd hoped when it arrived. Maybe it's just because I'm tall, but on it's own it's indecently short and the under layer - which you can't see in these photos - is somewhat transparent. If you do fancy buying it, heed warning that it may not be the most easy thing to wear! Thankfully the pinky lace is so beautiful that the piece redeemed itself, and admittedly it's lovely when worn as a top with the bottom layer tucked into a skirt.

We've just returned from watching Les Misérables. I was somewhat apprehensive about seeing the film, as I love the musical and the reviews I read were mixed. I'm glad I went in with a cautious mindset, as whilst it wasn't quite the intense experience that it is in the West End, I was really impressed. The music gave me shivers and there was some amazing casting. I'm so glad we decided to see it!

  11. You look absolutely beautiful in these photos, I love the lace design on the dress/top, so even if it failed at its original purpose its pretty enough to just look at! The head band looks lovely circling your bun as well :) I saw Les Mis at the cinema a couple of weeks ago and was an emotional wreck for the last half hour! I've seen it at the theatre too, and I agree that it was better to see it live, I did love the film but I'm jut not a massive fan of Amanda Seyfried and she kind of ruined it a bit for me - don't shoot me!
