HAT FROM URBAN OUTFITTERS | TIGHTS FROM NEXT*
May I introduce you to the dress that stole my heart. I first saw it on Dolls are United, and despite trying to resist, telling myself that I had to wait until it went into the sales, in the end I crumpled and ended up treating myself. I don't think I pull it off quite as well as Amy did, with her immaculate black hair and red lips, but I still had fun styling it.
I've been after nice hat for a while, however all those that I liked were a tad overpriced. Thankfully I came across this pretty piece of headwear for £10 in the Urban Outfitters sale. I know they're a bit of a fashion blogging cliche, but they're endearingly playful and I completely understand why they're so popular! Next on my list is a pork pie hat - original, I know!
Whilst I was in River Island treating myself to my dream dress, I also picked up this heart locket. It's rather simple, but it's very sweet, and at £5 a lovely finishing touch for understated outfits. It's not often I stray from my safe, black tights at this time of year, however I got these red ones in my goodie bag from the Company Blogging Forum and thought they would nicely set off the reds in the tapestry fabric. They don't look nearly as gaudy as I thought they would! I'd definitely consider wearing coloured tights again.
Since I don't have my usual creative writing seminar on Thursday I'm now facing a five day weekend - a very strange feeling indeed! I've got plenty of work to be doing, but it also means you can expect a few more outfit posts before the weekend.
