After a rather anxious few days (I won't bore you with the details), today I treated myself to a lazy day at home. I enjoyed tea and toast in bed, indulged in a little light reading and watched some of my favourite films. Now I'm enjoying a glass of wine and watching rubbish tv, and it is bliss. I've got some tricky things going on right now regarding university admin, and it feels like weeks since I've been able to properly unwind. It's nice knowing I've got a few empty days ahead of me to get on top of things.
We're due heavy snow on Friday, so with a bit of luck there are a few more pyjama days on the horizon - after the customary half hour spent outside taking photos, of course! What do you do when you're feeling a bit burnt out?

Those slippers/bedsocks (can't quite tell which they are haha) are the most adorable things I have ever seen!

I might try this next time I feel worn out as my current method dies bit work . I usually just keep pushing myself past exhaustion as I'm so worried if I let things build-upI might never get out of the mess I've created! being ill is the worse example- I tend to do double shifts as I can't stand giving in (my dad to say I'd we didn't go to school we weren't allowed to pkay)which on my makes things worse. next time I'm doing the Megan method.
ReplyDeleteThose slipper socks are so sweet! They look so warm and comfortable too :) x
