DRESS FROM MOD DOLLY x SKETCH STREET* | HEELS FROM H&M | EARS FROM CROWN AND GLORY*
Don't cat ears just make every outfit better? Or maybe that's just me. I'll admit that when it comes to accessories I'm not the most innovative person out there, and I'd much rather stick to one statement accessory like this Crown and Glory headband than pile on half a dozen fussy bits and pieces. Simple, understated, but charmingly quirky.
Not that this Mod Dolly x Sketch Street dress needs much accessorizing. I first encountered it when I modeled it last autumn, and since it was one of my favourites from the collection I decided I would use some of my store credit to get one of my own (I've also got another dress and an adorable cape to share with you!). Since I'm a curvy lady, skater dresses and skirts are my favourite silhouettes. Anything that nips in at my waist and skims over my hips is a winner in my book, and this collared, velvet number is no exception.
I'm very excited because this is, incredibly, the first time I have featured one of Amy's designs in one of my outfit posts! It's really rather remarkable considering that Mod Dolly is chock full of the playful prints, romantic fabrics and vintage shapes that I adore. I need to sort this out and get some more Mod Dolly in my wardrobe pronto!
