Last night I dreamt of the Emerald City.

Happy December to all! I can't believe it's finally here - my favourite month of the year! Christmas and my birthday and winter holidays and pretty decorations and good food and general festivity. Nothing beats it. I'm a December girl right to my core. I've even decorated my blog for Christmas, what do you think?

Since I'm feeling (more than a little bit) festive, I decided to style my new faux leather skirt from Oh My Love with this festive green pajama top from Vintage Style Me. I bought the latter in August as part of a pajama suit, however I wasn't quite sure whether I really pulled the look off. I ended up just wearing them as pajamas! However I was feeling adventurous so today I actually wore the shirt as part of a daytime outfit. I think I deserve a pat on the back.

Last night we watched the Christmas lights being turned on in our village and it was really lovely. Ever since we moved down to Cornwall seven years ago I've adored the Christmas lights. There are some amazing ones of boats and dolphins that they string right over the cove so that they reflect in the sea. I'll try and get some photos when I'm back in Cornwall later this month, but I don't know whether my amateur photography skills will really do it justice.

I've got a very full on week ahead of me; two uni deadlines, signing for our flat next year, and getting all of the general loose ends tied up before we go on holiday. On the bright side, I'm having a little birthday celebration on Friday evening with some of my favourite people. Cocktails, cakes and Christmas cheer - perfect!
