Have yourself a merry little Christmas.


Over the past few days my family and I have been getting the house all ready for Christmas, and I thought I should share a few photos! Second post of the day, I know, but I've been feeling extremely Christmassy and I wanted to get this done so that tomorrow I'm freed up to do an outfit post.

I've always loved my mum's aesthetic (one of the key reasons why she's essentially become our wedding planner!), and she's wonderful at putting together all of those little details that really make Christmas magical. This year she was so keen to get a Christmas tree that had the right smell that she ended up buying four! We now have one in every room downstairs, each one decorated differently, and it smells heavenly.

We've spent the day piled in the kitchen, listening to Christmas songs (Silver Bells, It's Beginning To Look a Lot Like Christmas, Wonderful Christmastime...), wrapping presents and drinking cocoa. My little brother and sister broke up from school yesterday and it's been lovely having them around the house all day. It feels very festive!

I honestly can't wait for Christmas day, I'm dreaming about stuffing and chipolatas and cranberry sauce!

  1. Stunning photography! I've been in bed ill, after a tonsillectomy, so I haven't really seen much of my decs this year- this post has made me feel really festive without having to leave my bed!

  4. Beautiful photos. Christmas is so magical! My mum is a little Christmas obsessed too. We have two full sized trees, and three or four more little ones! Unfortunately we never have real trees because we have so many pets, so no Christmassy smells for me :(
