Something a little bit different, I'm being adventurous at the moment (for me anyway, which means less girly colours and flowing fabrics). This dress from Chi Chi Clothing is such a flattering shape, it nips you in at just the right place and the statement peplum hides a multitude of sins! It reminds me a little of one of my style icons, Dita Von Teese. Her style is so timeless and classic - I wish I looked as classy as she does on a day to day basis, she's the kind of women who would never be caught having a bad hair day or without her lipstick perfectly applied. I can't help but feel a little disheveled after looking at photos of her perfectly polished waves and flawless make up.

Life is extremely busy at the moment. Between lectures, seminars, grocery shopping, NaNoWriMo and a sudden surge of uni deadlines and assignments, I've had very little downtime!  Thankfully there's light at the end of the tunnel as on Thursday I'm heading up to London for the weekend. Admittedly my diary is still packed for those few days, but it'll be nice to be doing things that aren't related to university for a change (and I may just be able to slip in an hour or two of retail therapy!).
