Sequins are a weakness of mine, I see them and I go weak at the knees. In particular, there are some incredible sequin dresses around this season, and this sparkling, monochromatic number from Glamorous is just one example - isn't it just lovely?

Perhaps it's a little different to my usual outfits, however I truly love it. It's the perfect balance of classy, contemporary and quirky, and with all those sequins shining away all I needed to finish the outfit off was a pair of black tights (how would I survive A/W without them!) and some patent heels. I toyed with the idea of throwing a glitter bow into the mix, but it just didn't seem necessary. Even heavy eye make up would have felt like too much.

For the record, yes, my scalp is pink in these photos. My hair colour needed a pick me up before an event I'm attending tomorrow (more on that soon!) so I tried out Schwarzkopf's new Live Color XXL Ultra Brights semi-permanent dye in Pillar Box Red. It's an amazing, vibrant alternative to permanent bottle dye (and far kinder to your hair), however it stains your skin like nobody's business!
