This afternoon has been spent in a vicious battle with my English Literature essay. Despite being partly about Angela Carter's The Bloody Chamber (one of my all-time favourite books), it is still achingly dull and lengthy. It was certainly nice to have a break and take some photos in the sunshine.
The only upside of the essay is that it's given me and excuse to reread all of Charles Perrault's original fairytales, there is certainly a lot of inspiration packed into those little stories! Lots of ideas for future creative endeavours.
If it weren't for Perrault and the endless cups of caramel tea I've been sucking down, I think today might have driven me mad...
